Greetings everyone, Jake here with some news on the Haiti Relief fund as you may or may not of heard CDBaby are donating a $1 from each album sale during the next two weeks, so we have decided to do a simliar sort of thing.

If you buy our music from ReverbNation or BandCamp we will donate 40% of our sales to the Haiti Relief, this is our way of showing our support to those trying to help Haiti and to try and get more aid to the victims of the disaster.

So as an example if you buy an album download for £7.99 we will donate £3.19 or an EP for £2.99 we will donate £1.19.

We will be doing this from now right through to the end of February..

A good friend of Remergence, Pixieguts, has recently written an article on the way that some website are harvesting download links from the mass of websites that have artists tracks available for free, they are pulling music from Last.fm, ning and many more.

Not only this but they are also selling the tracks as ringtones, this is an absolute disgrace to us artists and even some of our tracks have been pilfered from the site that we have given permission to to have free downloads, so as with many artists we have now started removing a lot of the free downloadable tracks and making them streamable only.

Don’t get us wrong, we don’t mind out fans getting tracks for free, it’s the blatent disregard of these sites selling our tracks as ringtones and then not giving us a penny for them!

So sadly we are removing all free downloads, except for those at ReverbNation and BandCamp where they are a bit more secure.

Please Read the article by PixieGuts which inspired me to write this post.

We caved in to the masses of fans that emailed us asking why we hadn’t added our B-Sides release on to our BandCamp Store, so just for you we went and did it ;)

We know that a lot of our Electronica Music fans wanted the release on BandCamp for the simple reason they have a wider choice of formats to download the album in, so as we love you all we decided it was only fair to add it to the list of other releases that we have on there already.

And just to make life easier for you while reading this blog we’ve added a player here with the links for you to get your hand on the B-Sides ;)
