Bandcamp artist pages gets fans, so please show your support
by Karen W. on Feb.05, 2013, under News
Great news for music fans and fellow artists using Bandcamp, as you can now not only have an artist page, but also a fan pagem allowing fans and artists to show their support for the music that they like and have downloaded.
Good news: we’ve been working on exactly that (and then some). Today we’re giving fans the ability to showcase their Bandcamp music collections, follow their favorite artists, explore the music of like-minded fans, add items to a wishlist, and more. In developing these features, we’ve been guided by one overriding objective: grow revenue for artists while keeping the core Bandcamp experience as simple and clean as possible. (Read the full article on the Bandcamp blog).
We’ve already got some supporters of our music on Bandcamp and we really appreciate them for showing their support, we have also opened a fan account, well I have (Karen), and am building up a collection of the artists that I like and have purchased/downloaded their music.
Bandcamp artist pages gets fans, so please show your support
Fans can follow other fans, meaning they’ll be notified whenever those fans collect new music. (These notifications currently happen via a digest email, and we’ll add a feed option soon.) Fans can discover interesting people to follow in a few different ways. First, when viewing their own collection page, a fan will see a list of suggested fans. Second, when viewing any item on any collection page, a fan can see a list of who else bought that item and what they had to say about it, and then go exploring those fans’ collections (warning: this is seriously addictive). Third, when a fan buys something that they discovered via another fan’s collection, we send the original fan a congratulatory email, so they can a) strut around the rest of the day feeling chuffed and b) explore the full collection of the fan whose life they’ve just changed for the better. Finally, fans can discover one another via artists’ album and track pages. But that deserves a section of its own…
So please stop by Remergence on Bandcamp and show your support by becoming a fan of our music and even adding our albums/EPs to a wishlist for you to come back to later.
And if that doesn’t give you a massive reason to stop by then you can also grab some PROMOTION CODES to download Remergence albums

Doing Our Part For The St Asaph Flood Victims
by JJones on Nov.29, 2012, under General, News
Hey everyone JJ here with a little bit of special news for you all, now if you have seen the news lately there has been some terrible floods in St Asaph and Rhuddlan and 500 homes were evacuated in St Asaph and people lives have been destroyed by the power of the River Elwy.
Now I’m posting here as Karen is extremely busy lately with a little something special, but more on that later
We have decided that proceeds from sales of our music purchased on BandCamp will go to the North Wales Flood Relief Fund, we want to try to give as much as we can to those in need, so hopefully you will all dip in your pockets and purchase our music and then we can donate whatever is made to the Flood Victims.
Simply visit our BandCamp page at http://remergence.bandcamp.com and grab the music and let’s try and make loads to help those in need at this terrible moment.
News On Karen’s Hard Work For Her Blog.
Now a lot of you know that my partner in crime is extremely popular lately, she has taken on the mantel of “Blogger and Online Journalist” and not only does she produce one heck of a blog called Blazing Minds, but she also spends a lot of time reviewing films for her local cinema and then reviewing them on the local radio station called @PointFMRhyl. I blame Karen for her lack of time for our new album
It doesn’t stop there though, over the years Karen has got to know several artists via the work she does and she is now working hard and trying to do a Christmas Party/Flood Fundraiser to help the St Asaph Flood Victims.
I seriously don’t know where she gets all the energy from, anyway, she has some great artists confirmed to take time out of their busy schedules to perform all in the aid of raising money.
But sadly she has hit a wall! Karen is trying to get a venue in the Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Abergele, Rhyl or Prestatyn area, that are willing to put on her event for free. I’ve known Karen for many years and she’s one hell of a hard worker and music and journalism have always been a passion of hers, so putting on this event means so much to her, that she can help others.
So not only has she said we will give all our sales of Remergence track/albums, but she is working her ass off to try to get this event on, so that she give help St Asaph and the people who have had their lives devastated by this tragedy right before Christmas.
Putting The Call Out For Karen aka Blazing Minds
This is my big shout out, to any venues in the area mentioned to get in touch with Karen via her blog, Blazing Minds and give her a venue for free to raise some money and give people a damn good show, I’ve seen the artists she’s already got and boy oh boy, they ROCK, top marks to Karen for getting everyone.

The North Wales Music Showcase on @PointFMRhyl
by Karen W. on Apr.21, 2012, under News
Hello blog readers and music fans, as you can see from the rather large image in the blog post this is something special for us, it’s all thanks to @OfficialCraigK, from out local radio station @PointFMRhyl, who does a show every Wednesday called “Welsh Wednesday” where he showcases bands from the North Wales coast.
Sometime back we were given our few minutes of fame on the show and had our track Starlight played by Craig, suffice to say our Twitter @RemBeatZ and our Official Facebook page had a nice little increase of fans after this
Today Craig posted up this rather amazing looking poster on Facebook and we just want to share it with you, it not only includes us, but it also includes some other amazing artists that Craig has played on his show.
So look them up and check them out, big thanks to Craig for this amazing poster and if you are a band on the North Wales coast then give Craig a shout (you can find his details in the poster), you never know you could be on his next Welsh Wednesday show

A Possible Release Of Our Album – The Remixes
by JJones on Apr.16, 2012, under News
Some time back we mentioned about an album of remixes that we had sitting on a shelf looking for us to possibly release, the 12 track album has never been something that we have overly rushed out and even now we have are doubts about releasing it.
Though we have talked about recently and have thought of uploading it to BandCamp for our fans that do appreciate our work (you know who you are).
So the dilemma is:
- Do we release The Remixes out to the world, even though it does seem a bit dated now with its track list.
- Do we keep it shelved and just continue slogging away on the new album
We’ve been knocking the idea around for a while and still haven’t come up with whether we should put it out there or not and then saying if we do, will anyone buy the release, as the majority of our fans already have a selection of the original tracks on our albums, some of the mixes are even on some of our EPs and single releases.
So the pondering continues, do we or don’t we, I’d personally love to throw the release up and BandCamp, but Karen isn’t to sure and says that it’s a little dated. It’ll all boils down to demand in the end, if we have enough fans asking for it, then it’ll probably get uploaded and sold for a stupid low price.
Oh well we shall see, but until then.
This is JJ signing off, keep it real folks
