Time Keeps Flowing Like A River!

It’s amazing how the years go flying by, I mean we are now in 2010 and we started producing music back in the middle of 1997, good God where have the years gone!
Not to say that it hasn’t been all up hill or even down hill, over the years, we’ve changed the style of our music and even completely wrote of one album after finishing it, because we didn’t like any of it, just didn’t sound right.
We even went through a stage of producing a “concept” album which never actually saw the light of day, not many people want an album where each track is between 15 and 40 minutes long, yes we could of broke them down in to sections with track splits, but we didn’t want to do that, you never know we may release that one one day 
Even now we are still working on our latest project, or as we like to call it the “Sheep Project”, yes, the album will be called “Sheep”, it still sounds like us, but with a few twists thrown in here and there, just to surprise the listener, now I know your looking forward to hearing that now
So it’s thirteen years since we started, unlucky for some they say, but thirteen is JJ’s lucky number so hopefully this should be a good year for us this year, it has been already, with a a good amount of downloads from both iTunes and our selection of albums on BandCamp (some are even free to download, fancy that). Also the other online stores are selling well.
If we can keep going with our albums and you our loyal fans keep supporting us, then that’s all we need, not the fame, not the fortune (well maybe a little to pay the bills) but the joy of producing music.

This was all done when we were asked by one of our biggest fans @quiffylaa31 to create a Black Hoodie with our logo on it, so how could we resist, so here it is:

We have moments like this, where we just can’t resist doing something made for a limited time and this time we decided to have a It’s a £1 Digital Download Extravaganza!
If you visit our list of digital downloadable albums @bandcamp you’ll find quite a few for the low price of £1, yeah I know mad or what.
But you’ll have to hurry as we are only selling this low until the end of august at which point they’ll be going back up again.

Now It’s All Down To A Pondering Thought On Artwork!

Now those of you who have been following our blog, will remember the post we made about the title of the new album “Sheep”, now comes the tough side of the project .. The Artwork.
We have both been going around taking photos in fields of sheep and nothing really seems to just jump out, so unless we can come up with some good shots then we may just have to do some design work.
Nothing in mind at the moment, but when we do come up with some crazy ideas, you will be the first to find out

It’s Now Easier To Find Remergence on FaceBook

There are now two ways of finding our Fan page on FaceBook, yes you read that right, two ways.
The first method is the one that we started using some time back with FaceBooks URL shortner, we thought it would be easier for fans to find the page with the simple URL of: http://band.to/remergence
The other URL is down to a change with FaceBook allowing those with a certain amount of fans to get their own tag, so obviously we we chose our band name and so the other URL is: http://www.facebook.com/remergence
So it’s easy to remember now, all you have to do is add “Remergence“, so if you haven’t become a Fan on FaceBook then please stop over their and join the others that have become fans of our music, we’d love to see you over their

Sheep! Seriously … Sheep!!

JJ and I were talking the other day with regards to the title of the new album and it was one of those days where we were both having mad, insane thoughts and having a laugh.
We sat down and became all serious and decided to think of a name for the new album, we decided not to go with another title in latin, it seems to get lost on a few people when we do that
So I said “Sheep” and JJ said “What! Why Sheep?” to which I replied “Why not?”, JJ looked at me for a minute and then said “OK, sheep it is”.
Yeah, that’s how we work, our creative process in full motion, you should see us when it comes to song titles 
So there you have it, it’s official the new album from Remergence will be called SHEEP. You heard it here first, now lets see how long it takes to get around the net, this will be interesting
