Quick post up today, with the news that we have recently been interviewed at IMP (Independent Music Promotions), well when I say we, Karen took on the mantel of being interviewed, she’s a lot better at it than I am

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Yes folks Christmas is only around the corner, so get yourselves in to gear and get those last-minute presents for your family and friends, you could always download one or a couple of our albums

So for the time being we are having a Christmas break from the music making and will be back in gear in 2012, with new tracks, an album and hopefully a few extra freebies for you, our music loving fans

We’ve recently hand several emails and DMs etc, asking us why people can’t get hold of our album Standing in the Shadows on our Bandcamp page, so I thought it may be time to let you know exactly why!

Putting it simply, it’s been a time issue, it takes a while to upload the album to Bandcamp due the size of the files, they are not uploaded as MP3 files, they are loaded up in either WAV or FLAC format and this does take time.

Earlier in the week we tweeted out that when we hit 10,000 followers we will be drawing out a couple of lucky winners for some Remergence merchandise.

We’re getting closer to the target and it shouldn’t be long before somebody gets some free stuff from us.

It’s been a long year and there has been many stops more than starts, album wise, it’s coming on and we are still working on the album which has become a labour of love this year

This last musical project has been a tough one and it seems to be taking forever, whether this is down to time constraints, Karen has been working he butt off and a of of other projects as well as the music, I’ve been pushing the music that little further and developing something a little different. But it’s all taking time and deadlines have passed, those that we have set ourselves.

So it now seems that the next album will have to be a 2011 release, we’ve dropped so many tracks, that the pair of us are just not happy with, we’ve even re-tweaked several tracks, only to totally redo them as they just didn’t sound right!

So really we have become one with the music and it’s now becoming an every day project that is growing into a monster! We did have a track that ran for 48mins, yeah I know, mad isn’t it, but I know we will probably keep this track, but an edited version, just to keep the flow going

So stick with us and please be patient as we endeavour to continue on this roller coaster ride of music wonder

Seriously how hard can it be to find the right sheep for a photo opportunity!

Ok! So I may be a bit fussy on this and having the next album called “Sheep” really didn’t give us much of an option for an album cover, first I thought of taking photos of sheep and them playing around with PhotoShop to produce something weird, but I haven’t been able to get the right shot anywhere.

Then I thought we could do some CGI or something, but neither of us are really good at artwork, well Karen was pretty good with her technical darawings for the Wide Open Space album, but this latest album cover has really stumped us.

So if anyone out there has any ideas then for Gods sake please let us know
