We have had so many fans getting in touch asking us for a new release and one which would harken back to our early days with, but with a twist, so how could we resist the calls, so we have banged our heads together and pulled in the resources to produce this out last album.
Why Is It The Last Remergence Album?
Sadly due to all the time constraints that both myself and Karen have we don’t have the time to sit down and work for hours and days at a time of material, so we wanted to produce one last piece of work that would bring in the sounds and feel of our earlier work, some of the tracks will have some guests on and some are tracks which we have pulled in the past and now decided to re-tweak for the last release.
What Are You Going To Get With The Last Remergence Album?
We have taken the sound back to Wide Open Space, but added a new feel with several tweaks and samples, we have decided to use almost anything we can get our hands on for the sound and have pulled all the sample discs in to one place to bring as much as we can from older workings in to the last album.
The album will be our way of saying thanks to everyone for supporting us and for listening and purchasing the albums, tracks etc. It’s a hard decision to end the run, but time is always a constant, but as Karen always tells me, “The Phoenix is a wonderful creature”.
We will release the album as download only and it will be available as a “Pay as you want” release, hopefully you guys will dip in your pockets for us and pay some nice pennies for the release.
Keep an eye on the blog and on the Official Remergence Twitter and we will bring you more updates over the next couple of months.
Thanks for your support everyone and remember, music will always be in our lives as it is yours…
Hey everyone JJ here with a little bit of special news for you all, now if you have seen the news lately there has been some terrible floods in St Asaph and Rhuddlan and 500 homes were evacuated in St Asaph and people lives have been destroyed by the power of the River Elwy.
Now I’m posting here as Karen is extremely busy lately with a little something special, but more on that later
We have decided that proceeds from sales of our music purchased on BandCamp will go to the North Wales Flood Relief Fund, we want to try to give as much as we can to those in need, so hopefully you will all dip in your pockets and purchase our music and then we can donate whatever is made to the Flood Victims.
Simply visit our BandCamp page at http://remergence.bandcamp.com and grab the music and let’s try and make loads to help those in need at this terrible moment.
News On Karen’s Hard Work For Her Blog.
Now a lot of you know that my partner in crime is extremely popular lately, she has taken on the mantel of “Blogger and Online Journalist” and not only does she produce one heck of a blog called Blazing Minds, but she also spends a lot of time reviewing films for her local cinema and then reviewing them on the local radio station called @PointFMRhyl. I blame Karen for her lack of time for our new album
It doesn’t stop there though, over the years Karen has got to know several artists via the work she does and she is now working hard and trying to do a Christmas Party/Flood Fundraiser to help the St Asaph Flood Victims.
I seriously don’t know where she gets all the energy from, anyway, she has some great artists confirmed to take time out of their busy schedules to perform all in the aid of raising money.
But sadly she has hit a wall! Karen is trying to get a venue in the Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Abergele, Rhyl or Prestatyn area, that are willing to put on her event for free. I’ve known Karen for many years and she’s one hell of a hard worker and music and journalism have always been a passion of hers, so putting on this event means so much to her, that she can help others.
So not only has she said we will give all our sales of Remergence track/albums, but she is working her ass off to try to get this event on, so that she give help St Asaph and the people who have had their lives devastated by this tragedy right before Christmas.
Putting The Call Out For Karen aka Blazing Minds
This is my big shout out, to any venues in the area mentioned to get in touch with Karen via her blog, Blazing Minds and give her a venue for free to raise some money and give people a damn good show, I’ve seen the artists she’s already got and boy oh boy, they ROCK, top marks to Karen for getting everyone.

Some time back we mentioned about an album of remixes that we had sitting on a shelf looking for us to possibly release, the 12 track album has never been something that we have overly rushed out and even now we have are doubts about releasing it.
Though we have talked about recently and have thought of uploading it to BandCamp for our fans that do appreciate our work (you know who you are).
So the dilemma is:
- Do we release The Remixes out to the world, even though it does seem a bit dated now with its track list.
- Do we keep it shelved and just continue slogging away on the new album
We’ve been knocking the idea around for a while and still haven’t come up with whether we should put it out there or not and then saying if we do, will anyone buy the release, as the majority of our fans already have a selection of the original tracks on our albums, some of the mixes are even on some of our EPs and single releases.
So the pondering continues, do we or don’t we, I’d personally love to throw the release up and BandCamp, but Karen isn’t to sure and says that it’s a little dated. It’ll all boils down to demand in the end, if we have enough fans asking for it, then it’ll probably get uploaded and sold for a stupid low price.
Oh well we shall see, but until then.
This is JJ signing off, keep it real folks
Quick post up today, with the news that we have recently been interviewed at IMP (Independent Music Promotions), well when I say we, Karen took on the mantel of being interviewed, she’s a lot better at it than I am
Anyway, a big thanks to James Moore for that chance for the interview and for helping get the word out for our music, but enough of my ranting, just stop by the interview and enjoy.
Exclusive Interview With Trance Ambient Master Remergence
Thanks again to James and all our fans for your support
Yes, I know it’s been a little while since anything was last posted here on the Remergence Blog, but we’ve been so busy these days that we really haven’t had the time to post up as much and as often as we would like to do.
So I thought it was time to post up with a special Christmas blog post wishing all our fans a …
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Yes folks Christmas is only around the corner, so get yourselves in to gear and get those last-minute presents for your family and friends, you could always download one or a couple of our albums
So for the time being we are having a Christmas break from the music making and will be back in gear in 2012, with new tracks, an album and hopefully a few extra freebies for you, our music loving fans
We’ve recently hand several emails and DMs etc, asking us why people can’t get hold of our album Standing in the Shadows on our Bandcamp page, so I thought it may be time to let you know exactly why!
Putting it simply, it’s been a time issue, it takes a while to upload the album to Bandcamp due the size of the files, they are not uploaded as MP3 files, they are loaded up in either WAV or FLAC format and this does take time.
Earlier in the week we tweeted out that when we hit 10,000 followers we will be drawing out a couple of lucky winners for some Remergence merchandise.
We’re getting closer to the target and it shouldn’t be long before somebody gets some free stuff from us.
If you are already following us then you are in the running for a competition entry, but please remember, we will be checking and if you are one of those that follows and then unfollows quickly then you will not be entered. So all you have to do is follow @RemBeatZ for a chance to be in the running in this Twitter Remergence merchandise Competition
Good Luck everyone
