After a long deliberation we have decided to scrap our latest work as it just didn’t seem to be right, the whole album just wasn’t falling in to place!
So instead we are going to start from scratch as the work done isn’t to our usual standards, sadly this means that fans will have to wait a little longer for our next album to be released.
Please bear with us as we work on the new work and you just never know we may release the scrapped album as a free download in the near future.
Big thanks to everyone that has been downloading our previous work and telling people about us, this new work is dedicated to all of you
Quick post for today, this is a mention for our good friend Carlos Wilde who’s brilliant album “Cocktail” has been re-released by Indie Net Label Atom Sounds.
The album is amazing, it’s vocals, lyrics and music really can’t be faulted, so we are taking this opportunity on our blog to tell our fans to check out the album and hopefully pre-order a copy for the day of release which is on the 1st of June.
We know Carlos would be over the moon if more people became a fan of him and his music.
So grab your copy now of Cocktail by Carlos Wilde

Now some time back you will remember when we did our first DJ Mix titled Rebirth for the Atom Sounds Podcast.
Well now we are proud to announce that you can now stream the 52 minute mix on LastFM, this will give those of you who haven’t heard the Mix a chance to check it out and enjoy some of the amazing tracks and artists on the mix.
We hope that those of you who haven’t yet got hold of this popular, but elusive, single, will now have the chance to get your hands on it and enjoy it in it’s remastered form. As with all our releases on BandCamp you have a choice of which format you wish to downloads the tracks in
We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thanks to everyone that has been supporting our crazy mad £1 giveaway, if you’ve not heard about this yet then let is tell you all about it.
In an earlier post on the blog we mentioned how a ex-music boss had said that £1 downloads were the way to go, so, we bit the bullet and have had our album releases on BandCamp all going for £1 each and it’s been interesting.
It’s quite amazing the difference it makes by reducing the cost of your releases, though people would still prefer them for free!
But isn’t a £1 a bargain?
Anyhow for those that haven’t got any of our downloads from BandCamp yet, get on over there before Friday as that is the cut of day and all the albums will be returning back to their original prices.
So again thanks to our many fans that have been taking this opportunity to get their hands of releases they haven’t already got, you guys and gals rock!
Even if you’re not in the music business, then you will have heard the news that the Ex-Warner music head, Rob Dickins, believes that selling albums downloads for £1 would reduce piracy and give the music sales the much needed boost that they need.
But will it work and what does it mean to artists around the world, earning a living from their music.
Ok this isn’t for CDs they will keep their prices, this £1 price tag if for music downloads, giving people more of an opportunity to discover new artists and rather than paying £7.99 for a an album download, people will only have to pay £1.
Sounds a bargain to us and for artists that are not signed to the massive labels this will give them, like ourselves, more of a chance to get their music heard by more people, I personally would buy many more albums that I already do, if they were only a £1.
Imaging you could get 5 albums for £1, now that sounds a real bargain to me!
But this whole argument has a 50/50 spilt at the moment, yes it may be good to get an artist out to new listeners, but, it also has it’s downsides in that some people no matter if an album is available for £1 will still copy it or download it for free because they are just cheapskates!
So, as an experiment, we are biting the bullet and following the idea brought up by Rob Dickens and for a limited time we are setting the price of all our albums, that are available on BandCamp for the price of a £1. So lets see how it goes shall we

On November 19th it will be time for Children in Need to take over the BBC and start it’s fund raising show, but fund raising for Children in Need for us starts right now!
We have decided that from now until the Children in Need show airs on BBC1 on the 19th November we will donate our sales of our albums that are available on BandCamp to Children in Need.
Hopefully from now until then we can raise some funds to send to the show and help out some of the Children not only in the UK but the rest of the world, every little helps.
Last year Children in Need raised £39 million, so hopefully last years total can be beaten and with sales of albums we do hope that we can give something to the charity as well.
So now the time to get to fundraising, stop by our BandCamp Store and lets start raising funds for Children in Need.

Recently we posted about our album give away and we are so pleased with everyone that we would just like this opportunity to say thank you to everyone that have been downloading the album!
Those following our blog will now that we have offered the download the album for free with an option of paying something if they wanted to, suffice to say we have a mass of downloads and though the majority have been free, we have also had a good selection of fans paying for the release. This is extremely appreciated and we know who you are, so to those that have opted to “donate” something to download the album then you can expect a little treat in your email inbox in January
So thanks everyone, you guys rock!
