Time Keeps Flowing Like A River!

by Karen W. on Aug.21, 2010, under News

It’s amazing how the years go flying by, I mean we are now in 2010 and we started producing music back in the middle of 1997, good God where have the years gone!

Not to say that it hasn’t been all up hill or even down hill, over the years, we’ve changed the style of our music and even completely wrote of one album after finishing it, because we didn’t like any of it, just didn’t sound right.

We even went through a stage of producing a “concept” album which never actually saw the light of day, not many people want an album where each track is between 15 and 40 minutes long, yes we could of broke them down in to sections with track splits, but we didn’t want to do that, you never know we may release that one one day ;)

Even now we are still working on our latest project, or as we like to call it the “Sheep Project”, yes, the album will be called “Sheep”, it still sounds like us, but with a few twists thrown in here and there, just to surprise the listener, now I know your looking forward to hearing that now ;)

So it’s thirteen years since we started, unlucky for some they say, but thirteen is JJ’s lucky number so hopefully this should be a good year for us this year, it has been already, with a a good amount of downloads from both iTunes and our selection of albums on BandCamp (some are even free to download, fancy that). Also the other online stores are selling well.

If we can keep going with our albums and you our loyal fans keep supporting us, then that’s all we need, not the fame, not the fortune (well maybe a little to pay the bills) but the joy of producing music.

Supporting Remergence with Sponsored Tweets

by Karen W. on Jun.07, 2010, under News

I have to admit, it’s hard sometimes to make a bit of money from music, unless you do a specific genre or get a major label to sign you up, it’s quite a challenge.

That’s why we are playing around with Sponsored Tweets on our Twitter @RemBeatZ in a hope that it may help a little and bring in a bit more revenue for us to play around with and help with the producing of our Electronica Music.

So occasionally you will see some tweets like this one:

Make the most of your iPhone and get paid to checkin and complete tasks with @wereward brought to you by http://spn.tw/tfQ8rJune 7, 2010 5:26 pm via Sponsored Tweets

These Sponsored Tweets are just to help us out, we are not telling you to click on them, but it would be nice ;)

Also if you would like to join us in Sponsored Tweeting then simple click here and sign up ;) Or if you would like to sponsor a tweet then that’s not a problem just click here to sponsor a tweet from Remergence

Some info about The Mighty Mighty Green Dragon (GD)

A veteran of vinyl days when DJ used to speak between tracks he quickly tore up the rule book being written by the new breed of mixing DJs. Never one to be governed by genre, TMMGD’s mixes refuse to just be a collection of random tracks thrown together to ensure a full dance floor. No, each mix becomes a work in it’s own right, almost like a symphony of many movements and moods.

Sit back, relax, turn it up and enjoy.

What are the benefits of downloading our music from BandCamp?

by Karen W. on Apr.02, 2010, under News

A lot of you reading our blog and following us on Twitter will have noticed that we sell a lot of our music via the website BandCamp, we do this as it’s a way of earning all the proceeds from sales rather than giving it to the “middle man”

So each time you download an album or track from our BandCamp Store we earn more from the sales than we would anywhere else and therefore this helps us with promoting our music and paying for stuff like web hosting etc.

Also it gives us the option to charge what we want and the ability to set a low price and then you the fan can decide to pay that price or be generous and add a little on top ;) Plus, we often give bonus tracks away with the releases as well as artwork etc all included in the download, something that you wouldn’t get anywhere else.

So please remember that downloading Remergence tracks from Bandcamp is best everyone and a little cheaper ;)

Our 2003 Album Wide Open Space is Now Selling Like Hot Cakes!

by JJones on Mar.08, 2010, under News

It’s probably no surprise that one of our most popular albums is now selling like there is no tomorrow, it may be something to do with the March Madness that is going around at the moment here at the Remergence camp, with us giving away music like it pouring out of our ears.

It all started on the first of March when we announced an “Easter Egg Hunt” and made a lot of our albums available for only a £1 ($1.50) and those of you that have been checking around the internet have found that our album “Wide Open Space” is going at such a mad price.

So a big thanks to everyone that has been buying our music it’s much appreciated, I know Karen is over the moon as shee needs a new phone ;) Only 450 downloads at this price and she’ll get one

Keep downloading and don’t forget to spread the word.

Peace ;)
