Hey fans of Remergence It seems that I’ve been left at the helm of our blog at the moment, so I thought it was about time I updated you all with some more news on our current project.

We have several tracks that are almost completed and we are hoping that we can get some guest vocals on this new album and make it more lyrical than our previous releases, we haven’t secured any names yet as we are still finishing off a lot of the tracks, but we will, in time, be contacting some of our favourite vocalists with the hope of a good response and some collaborations on the new album.

Just for those that are still asking about the compilation

Thanks to those wonderful people over at Amie Street, you know who you are They have kindly updated our releases so that now they all fall under the same artist name.

Previously our latest album Lux Lucis Quod Vis Somnium had to be listed separately due to us uploading it ourselves, but now you can find it listed with our other releases that were already listed on Amie Street, so this will certainly stop the confusion that people were having thinking that there were two artists with the same name.

Remergence on the new Atom Sounds Compilation

Ok, we’ve got the track listing sorted out for the upcoming Best Of.. Now it’s just a simple case of the artwork!

We have opted for some artwork that we had sent to us by Chris Bishop from Project Overseer Productions for the logo competition that we ran some time back and we thought it looked so good we didn’t want to let it go, so we have decided go with that.

It’s Artwork Time!!!

JJ and myself have been discussing a lot on whether or not we should release the next album on CD and MP3 or just stick with a downloadable release.

Over the last year or so we have noticed from sales that people seem to be buying our music more from places such as iTunes, Amazon and downloading from CDBaby more than actually buying the physical CD.

So the call goes out to the fans, do you prefer to download our music or would you like the option of actually having a physical copy of the CD and then uploading to your MP3 player with your own settings. Please let us know, so that we can plan ahead with what we are actually going to do.

How to Get Your Hands on Some FREE Remergence Stuff

JJ and myself had a really late night last night working on some of the final mixes for the new album. It seemed that we just couldn’t get the sound we wanted from the tracks that we aere working, maybe it was we were still working on them at around 3am.

So we stopped and will start work on them again later, but everything else is going well, we still don’t have titles for the track or the album and as for the artwork that’s another matter….

A Long Session on Remixing

Well we have the stats in for last year and it’s official our latest album “Lux Lucis Quod Vis Somnium” is our top selling album of 2008.

We are so proud that our album has done so well, it is a little different from some of our earlier work and we wasn’t to sure how it would be taken, but, it seems to have been taken to our fans hearts very well and thank you to everyone who has bought the physical cds and downloaded the MP3 version of the album.

Our albums are available from many different places and we have added all the sales etc to find out the running order for our top selling albums, in second place was our album “Standing in the Shadows“, third place was “Wide Open Space” and in fourth was our EP “Probably“.

So many thanks to everyone who has a copy of any or all of the above and a s celebration we are going to extend the $5 offer for a bit longer over at CDBaby.

It’s Official, Our New Album is a Top Seller!

We have finally completed the work on the second soundtrack that we have been working on, now it’s all down to finding out the release date of the soundtrack, we will hopefully be able to release it our own label and this way get it to you all that little bit quicker.
