Seriously how hard can it be to find the right sheep for a photo opportunity!

Ok! So I may be a bit fussy on this and having the next album called “Sheep” really didn’t give us much of an option for an album cover, first I thought of taking photos of sheep and them playing around with PhotoShop to produce something weird, but I haven’t been able to get the right shot anywhere.

Then I thought we could do some CGI or something, but neither of us are really good at artwork, well Karen was pretty good with her technical darawings for the Wide Open Space album, but this latest album cover has really stumped us.

So if anyone out there has any ideas then for Gods sake please let us know

It’s been a tough one, who’d of thought it could be so hard finding a sound sample of some sheep!

Over the last few weeks we tried recording our own sound FX, but they just weren’t good enough and most of the sample on the net are only a couple of seconds long.

Then lo and behold we found some on a website called The FreeSound Project, OMG, there are loads of samples that can be used and all we have to do is mention the originator of the sample in the sleeve design, now that sounds good to me.

So finally we managed to get a brilliant clear and crisp sound of some sheep and it’s not just a couple of seconds it’s a sample just short of 40 seconds, oh yes! It has begun

JJ and I were talking the other day with regards to the title of the new album and it was one of those days where we were both having mad, insane thoughts and having a laugh.

We sat down and became all serious and decided to think of a name for the new album, we decided not to go with another title in latin, it seems to get lost on a few people when we do that

So I said “Sheep” and JJ said “What! Why Sheep?” to which I replied “Why not?”, JJ looked at me for a minute and then said “OK, sheep it is”.

So there you have it, it’s official the new album from Remergence will be called SHEEP. You heard it here first, now lets see how long it takes to get around the net, this will be interesting
