This Competition Has Now Closed!

It’s took a while but today we hit 5,000 followers on Twitter ( @RemBeatZ ) and as promised we gave away a free album download to celebrate the Twitter landmark.

We posted earlier on Twitter as the count got closer to the mark the following Tweet:

Then after several minutes of the follower count fluctuating between 4,996 and 4,999 we finally hit that 5,000 make and @FunCookies4You was our winner, so we have DM’d a link to our free download and hope that they enjoy the album..

So onto the next Twitter Milestone, for the next one we will ramp up the stakes. We are going draw out three lucky Twitters when we next hit a follower count of …. Drum Roll Please …. 10,000 followers …

The winners will get a signed T-Shirt, Signed Album and a Signed Poster…

A few weeks ago we contacted Twitter in the hope that they would verify our account in the hope that it wouldn’t get confused with another another Twitter account that has use the Remergence name.

As you may now @RemBeatZ is the official Twitter for Remergence and @RemergenceNews is the twitter for official news only, but our name has already been used on twitter and that is why we had to go with the @RemBeatZ account.

So after contacting Twitter and explaining that some of our fans are getting a little confused and that we would like them to verify @RemBeatZ as the official Remergence Twitter we got the following response.

Your account verification request has been declined.
Unfortunately we found some problems with your verification request. If you are a business, go to your Business Center page for more information.

We followed all of Twitters guidelines, giving them the official website along with adding the twitter code to the site so that they could see that we run it etc. But NO!

So this is our way of letting all our fans know about the official Twitter for Remergence and thanks a lot Twitter for not even giving us a reasonable reason for verifying our account!

Now we know that a lot of our fans stalk, erm follow, both our twitters and generally love to see what the pair of us are up to, but for those that do find our tweets, maybe a bit too much, then we now have the RemergenceNews Twitter.

This new Twitter is mainly a feed of posts from this blog and from other networks that we belong to including our merchandise range etc.

Don’t worry we will still be tweeting on our main tweets, this is just a news feed…
